Can't upgrade from 2.2.4 to 3.0.0

Hi! Ubuntu 9.04 host with installed vbox2.2.4. I can't uninstall 2.2.4 to upgrade to 3.0.0. Can anybody help me ?

Any errors? What are you doing to upgrade? Just a simple apt-get remove --purge virtualbox-2.2, followed by a dpkg -i virtualbox-3.0*.deb should do the trick. That is, if you downloaded the package from the website. If you use the repo (for the PUEL version, as provided on the download page), a simple apt-get install virtualbox-3.0 will be enough.
