virtualbox 3.0 and windows 7 rc - could not paste

Post by chrone »

i just installed the virtualbox 3.0 on windows 7 rc x64 last night. it seems after running the new virtualbox, my system won't paste file i copy.

i tried to restart and it works without virtualbox running. but then again after i fired up virtualbox to run my ubuntu 9.04, the windows could not paste file i copy onto its drive or network drive. the ctrl-c and ctrl-v didn't work too. the only thing to make it works it by right click on the file and choose send to.

is anybody experiencing the same problems as me?

downgrade to 2.2.4 didn't solve the problem when running the guest system ubuntu 9.04. it seems the vbox 3.0 guest addition is the culprit. reinstalling the vbox 2.2.4 guest addition solve the paste problem.

the paste problem i mentioned above is from host to host. my host windows 7 rc x64 could not paste as long as the guest ubuntu 9.04 -running with virtualbox 3.0 and its guest addition- was on. downgraded to virtualbox 2.2.4 and reinstall the 2.2.4 guest addition solved the paste problem.
