My system is Vista 64 bit host and xp pro guest.
I have a USB camera for which I do not have the 64 bit driver and therefore has no working driver on the Vista system.
I have added a filter for the camera in the VM and it shows the camera as captured but there is no dot on the USB icon and the device manager does not show the camera and therefore does not request the driver to be installed.
A solution to this problem is greatly appreciated but in general it appears that USB devices are not attached easily. Thanks.
