Re: two processors and the task manager only one processor
You are going to have to give a lot more detail than that.

OK.
Windows Vista [host] - Windows Server 2003 [guest].
the previous version of VirtualBox worked with only one processor. then in the Task Manager windows appears only one server processor ..
after
updated version of VirtualBox, and enable 2 processors
and started the [guest] updated for the additional guests.
more tasks manager of Windows Server is only one processor

Re: two processors and the task manager only one processor
The device manager sees the 2 CPUs so it's allright.
What you might wanna check is that the Task Manager is configured to display the 2 CPU usage.

Re: two processors and the task manager only one processor
I see it
most only one CPU,
there is the question he is working with a processor or two?

Re: two processors and the task manager only one processor
I also had this same problem with my existing XP SP3 guest running on a dual-core Windows 7 x64 host.
I reinstalled XP and all the cores are active and correctly displayed in the guest's task manager.
