Guest: Win7 RC1 64
I tried to "rate this computer" in Windows 7 RC (build 7100), but run into an error during media/video testing. The error message is:
A little Googling suggestions that Windows perceives the hardware to be too old to support hardware decoding. I've attached the winsat.log file. Playing the winsat.wmv file on the host OS works fine. Playing the file directly on the guest OS results in Windows Media Player freezing.The Windows Experience Index for your system could not be computed.
Could not measure video playback performance
While there seems to be a slew of problems, my best guess is that the bulk of the error occurs here:
