This isn't really something we discuss here. What you want, can be done on a normal installation (non-virtual one) and you will get the same problem. The only difference here, is that there is a virtual layer between it. There are two things you can do to make your VM accessible from the outside world. Any additional configuration after this, like domain registration, is something you have to find out yourself. It's outside the scope of this forum.

Now for the configuration to make the VM accessible from the internet. Two things can be done. One is to use NAT as attached NIC, where you need to forward ports from your host to the Guest. You have to check the manual for that, it's explained nicely what you need to do. Don't forget to forward ports in your router too, using the IP of the Host, and the port(s) you forwarded on the Host to the Guest.

The other method you can use is attach the virtual NIC to Bridged mode. That way, the VM will be like a normal machine in your network, with it's own IP address. All you have to do after this, is configure your router to forward the proper port to the IP of the VM. You might want to configure the VM for a static IP address, as you might get a different IP from the router when you reboot it and you have to change the forwarding rule again in the router interface.

In both methods you need to configure your home router. If you don't have a router and are connected directly to the internet, then using Bridged won't work, because your ISP only provides ONE IP address, and that is already taken by your Host. And don't forget to set your firewall to allow the connection, else it won't be accessible.
