I'm testing Antivirus software on my guest XP VM (Ubuntu HH 8.04 host), and stumbled upon a problem with Kapersky AV. The Virtual machine hangs!
Luckily, I can kill the AV before it gets to fully hang the VM (took a few efforts).
.... Just to let everyone know who is thinking of using Kapersky in VBox. Btw Kapersky is a great AV for non-VM Windows OSes, and their FREE Linux-based bootable CDRom AV rescue-disk can crush infestations in a virus-laden PC.
AVG Free is lightweight and provides adequate protection. Should've search the forums, because this is the conclusion made by another user in the "Windows Guests" board.

did you already notice this thread: Would you please consider fixing bug 1778 in the next beta? in the "Special Purpose Beta Feedback" department?
