Hi All,
I may be building a server up from scratch. Host: 64 bit CentOS 5.x. Guests: Windows Server 2008 (up to four of them as things grow). I was planning on using Ext4 on recommendation of this forum.
Question: Would the more expensive SAS drives make much of a performance difference on the guests? Or should I just stick with the less expensive SATA II drives?
Many thanks,
-T
p.s. be cool if SATA 3 drives came out any time soon!
Are SAS drives any faster with VM's?
Re: Are SAS drives any faster with VM's?
SATA III drives and boards have been out there for while.
