Can I use my existing Windows Vista Install - Dual Booting?

Post by umechanism »

I am presently dual booting with Vista and Ubuntu 8.10. Within Ubuntu 8.10 I have VirtualBox running Windows XP SP3 so I really have two copies of Windows on the same machine which is a poor use of disc space. I was wondering if it is possible to have VB use my existing Vista install as the guest in Linux. Since I'm dual-booting, I just figured that maybe there was a way to do this which would allow me to get rid of the XP guest in Linux. Forgive me if this has been asked before...if it has, a link to a "How To" would be great. Thanks.
