I am running Virtualbox (PUEL) 2.2.4 on Mandriva 2009.1 and installed Windows XP as the guest.
Some programs cannot be installed in Windows because the installer hanges.
The box "Instal shield" or "Windows Installer" comes up and just stays there, doing nothing (if I leave it for 20 minutes, there is no change!!!)
Any suggestions??

Can you post some more details?
Guest settings, host memory, network type, and what it is you are trying to install that does not work properly?
How much HDD space have you allowed the guest, is it full, what format is the guest HDD?
These kind of things. I seriously doubt you can provide too much information for us to be able to help.
