Hi!
I had the old VB 2.1.4 running on SLED11 64bits without any problem. This VB was installed from the Script-based installer.
But i got tired of seeing the New verision message everytime i start VB so i desided to upgrade. I uninstalled the old version and downloaded the latest Generic Linux Script installer.
It install but it refuse to start any guest-OS. Including new created. I manage to downgrade to the old version again and then it works again.

SLED11 is based on OpenSUSE11.1 and i installed VB on OpenSUSE without any problems. This from the rpm-package.
So i think maybe i can install the OpenSUSE11.1 rpm-version and downloaded it. Now i refuse to install since i miss pam-devel.
Now i downloaded SUSE SDKs DVDs and did find the pam-devel and installed it.

Now i was very pleased to see the rpm-package install witout any problems. I startet the VG Manager and created new HD and OS-setup.
And again it get stuck when i start the new Guest-OS. It doesnt come to the BIOS-window but it only says; "Starting virual machine".

So i can conclude that VB doesnt like SLED11 64bits!!! Is there someone that manage to get this to run on SLED11?

We didn't test if the .rpm package runs at SLED11. But why don't you use the universal .run package?
