Hello everyone!
I am facing serious ActiveSync problems: I want to syncronise with my Samsung i900 OMNIA phone but, alas, has been imposible:
1. I am running a Windows XP sp3 on a 2.6.27.23-0.1-default x86_64 system (Dell Precision M6400 Laptop)
2. the PC "sees" the phone only when the phone is restarted : I sun ActiveSync on the phone but the PC-side ActiveSync never senses the attempt of the phone
to connect. After a while the rotating sync symbol on the phone becomes grey and the only thing to do is to restart the phone and re-iterate this fruitless
sequence
Does anybody have any ideas?

Re: ActiveSync / XP guest / Samsung OMNIA
Hi!
I just got an Omnia and I had the same problem. I got it working by disabling advanced network functionality in Start > Settings > Connections > USB to PC.
I don't know if it's fully working as I just need to access to my Omnia as a mass storage device. I hope it's enough for you
Good luck!
