Mounting file system as another drive on guest...

Post by artemis_f0wl »

Hello.

I apologize in advance for having to ask this question. Mainly because I've done this once before and I remember it being rather easy, I just didn't make a record of what I did and it was so long ago I simply forgot.

I am trying to mount the entire host file system as a second available drive within the guest. Essentially, when I open My Computer, I want to see the C drive and then a second drive which contains the entire host file system.

Again, sorry- I know this is fairly simple. I've searched the forums, google, and everything else I could think of but I'm just not finding the answer I need. I'm convinced that's because this should be so easy no one has bothered to ask, but then again I'm known for being hard on myself. Thanks for the education!

You could look into the user manual. Define a shared folder for your host file system and use connect to network drive within your Windows VM.
