Here's my issue, my old lappie died, so I'm currently reinstalling everything on the new one i got, but here's the catch: despite working flawlessly on Ubuntu 9.04 on the previous PC, VBox, got a USB issue on the new one.Strangely, the same issues repeats on Vista (I'm doing dual boot).
With all guest additions installed, all the usb devices are shown on VBox, but they are grey, and they can't be enabled.
I'm guessing it can be related to the crappy WiFi card, RTL8187b, that's connected internally by usb, but as I'm not an expert on linux, can't really tell.
The network works fine on XP guest, and is unnafected on linux host (Ubuntu 9.04), but on Vista it crashes my network, and once in a while got a nasty BSOD (but that's not the issue, just a comment). Asi I looked on the web, the RTL8187b network card, is a large cause of issues related to USB, but can't find any solution to my specific problem.Any guesses?
PS: Sorry for the crappy english
