Is this possible? Currently using Ubuntu 9.04, Virtualbox 2.2.4 running winXP. I cannot find any setting that may activate it. I did a search of the forums and only found an old post from 2007 stating that it would be a waste of developers time to implement. Is there any way to get this working? If there is no way to activate a gameport with virtualbox, is there a suitable alternative that does? I'm very new to Linux/Ubuntu but also very happy with it. If I can get my midi keyboard working through a virtual machine there is no need for me to go back to windows.
Any advice would be appreciated.

USB is another creature. You can try it might work, but it also might be a hair puller until you can find the sweat spot to make it work.
