Hi!
I have a 64-bits processor, AMD Phenon X3, and my main operating system is a Win XP 32-bits (I use the 32-bits due to the 64 bit version is incompatible with a specific software I use).
My question is:
Imagine I use the VB under my Win XP 32, to create a virtual Win XP 64 OS.
Will the applications that I run in the VB OS allocate the real 64-bits in the processor?
Would it offer better performance in heavy processing applications, considering the 64-bits OS, or it would be even worse beacuse is virtual under a 32-bits one?
I thank you for your answer!

If your CPU supports H/W virtualisation then you can run a 64bi guest under a 32bit host.
You are still constrained by the memory constraints of the host OS and no in general it will run less efficiently than 32bit over 32bit.
