Host-only networking

can someone post a guide to configure host-only networking with guest os windows 2003.
i tried several times and when using host-only i dont have internet connection on guest os. but when using NAT all fine.

Host only means just that. If you want your host to have full access and the guest to reach inernet.
Either use bridged networking or
Setup two network cards for the guest one nat and one host only.

Hi,
Please provide the step by step process for configuring "Host-only Networking".
Currently I am using:
Virtualbox 2.0.4
Host OS: Ubuntu 8.10
Guest OS: Windows XP

Did you read the manual yet? It's described there what it does and how it works. Chapter 6 of the manual. You can get the manual by either downloading the PDF from my signature, or go to Help > Contents in the GUI.
