Dual core not reflected in Windows guest.

Post by Mechphisto »

I have an AMD Core Duo T2400, but when I view the system monitor in my guest Windows 7, it shows only one CPU.
I don't see anything in my VB 2.2.4 (Ubuntu 8.10 host) that allows me to tell the guest number of processors. (Actually, of the various general settings...I really don't know what most of them do and could use advice on what to set them for use with Windows 7.)
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Liam

AMD Core Duo T2400
You sure it is not an Intel Core Duo T2400?
Anyway the present version of VirtualBox only recognizes one core and processor. There is a Beta release of Version 3.0.0 that has included SMP but not suggested for production machines as it is in Beta.

Oh. Er. Huh. Could have sworn it was AMD all this time. :) Oops.
Thanks for the single proc info! :D
