Guest OS Crashing

I am running virtualbox 2.2.2 on a Fedora 10 host. My guest OS (Windows XP) keeps crashing. When this happens, the crash handler in gnome displays a message that application <unknown> has crashed. If I save the bug report (attached), the only thing that looks out of place is 15 lines of:
*** NSPlugin Wrapper *** ERROR: NPObject 0x11512138 is no longer valid!
When it crashes, virtualbox itself is still running, but the guest window closes. If I restart the guest, it will say that the audio is not functional. At this point, I either need to log out and back in or reboot to correct the audio.
This problem has been happening for some time. I have updated to a newer version of Virtualbox, I have applied all updates to my system, etc.
The message in the bug report would tend to indicate a flash/firefox issue, but this doesn't make much sense to me. The problem only seems to occur when the computer is left idle for a lengthy time ( > several hours - i.e. overnight).
Thoughts?
