Setting up a simple guest/host connection

Post by batanyah »

Hi,

i am really really new to this, i have no real knowledge on networking but my current project is to developed a network application system but i only have a single PC for testing. So i thought, virtualbox could be a solution.

My problem is, i can't get the 2 connected. The guest and the host connection, no need for internet connection sharing just a very simple connection between the two. How can this be done? sorry for being such a noob. :(

You can use the host-only setting in the network settings of the guest for this.
