Noone will write a special manual for you.

So: not this way.

You have to try the installation.

If installation fails, you have to post exact infos: versions, host, guest, hardware, configuration.

A little Tip: have a look at the sticky posts in the windows guests area.

Well even though the version of Windows is out of service it is still not free. I think you will find that this is somewhat illegal. I doubt you will find anyone that will take you up on your request.
Besides look at all the experience when you finally get it going.

it really doesnt work for me, I don't even understand it.

I partitioned the harddrive, then formatted the C drive then I am stuck at what to do next.

On a tutorial on a website, it says copy the files from D:\win98, but I don't have a D:\win98?? any ideas? :(

Well you would mount the cd that has win98 on it in the vbox settings for the VM. Then when you bootup it will start the install.
