Hello.
Please a I need help with this error. I'm working with VB 2.2.4 on a Vista Bussines 64. Now I instaled VB on a Toshiba laptop with Vista Home Premium and I could not start.

Try this and see if it helps

• Reinstall VirtualBox by right clicking the install icon and left clicking run as administrator.
• Select repair when given the choice and then reboot after you have completed the re-installation.

Sorry but I do it and the error continue.

• What are the VBox settings (all of them) for the guest?
• What (if any) error messages are you getting?

The host memory is 2 Gb, is a Toshiba Satellite A200-A1 Laptop, Mobile DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo T5500, 1666 MHz (10 x 167), with Windows Home Premium OS.
Settings of VB are default cause a could not star the program and the error is:
Fail to create COM object for VirtualBox

In your profile you have stated that you are using the OSE Debian. You should be using the Windows version of the software.

Sorry I tell that I use OSE Debian cause I use it on other computer and want use it on this machine.

And my host in the other computer is Windows Bussines 64 and the guest Kubuntu 64
