Need Help With File Sharing
I have just installed Virtual Box On Vista 64 Bit, I am running Xp Pro on my virtual machine and cannot for the life of me figure out how to get file sharing to work. I have made a folder in my host computer(vista) and made it available for sharing, I have also made a path to this In Shared Folders on My Virtual machine(xp). How do I find this file? I cannot figure out how to make it available. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Need Help With File Sharing
Welcome to the forum Moona,
Actually you have the guide to do these things in your VirtualBox program. You can click on help and then contents and it is all explained there.
For now you can start the guest and then open a command window and type the following to mount the share in Windows.
Replace sharename with the name you gave the share in VirtualBox. It will now show up in your file manager.
