How to access share folder from FreeBSE?

Hi everyone
I am very new to the linux world, I did a search on this forum but can't find similar issue as mine.
I have the following question:
SOFTWARE:
- Sun XVM Virtual Box 2.1.4
- Ubuntu 8.10 (Main O/S)
- FreeBSE 7.x (Virtual machine).
QUESTION:
Ubuntu is my main O/S and I have created a folder under "/home/user1/sharefolder" so that I can access this folder from the virtual machine running FreeBSD.
When I created the FreeBSD virtual mahine, under the "Shared Folders" tab, I set it up as /home/user1/sharefolder".
But when I am in the FreeBSD virtual machine, I don't know how to access the Ubunut's "/home/user1/sharefolder".
Your help are much appreciated.
Regards
