Hi- everyone,

I just recently installed Virutalbox on my linux opensuse, I want to know why I can't ping my virutal guest but on the guest host I'm about to get access to the internet?

Any suggestion in settup on the my guests to have it own IP and visible to entire network.

I notice my network settings are set to NAT and able to surf the internet and upload all patch updates from Suse?

Any suggestions?

Yes, use bridging instead of NAT. Since 2.x this is now a no-brainer.
