I came through a problem today
Im testing some software on my Windows guest, virtualized on a linux host, and this software offered to create some bootable media, either floppy or cd/dvd.
The thing is that i am wondering now if virtualbox can take a blank image file mounted on the virtual machine, and burn any data on it........
If so, where can i get this blank medias?
Thanks!!

floppy is easy done: attach an empty 1474560 byte file to the virtual machineeither floppy or cd/dvd.
Code: Select all
dd if=/dev/zero of=foobar.img bs=512 count=2880-
