usb grayed out

hi i am new to linux but i got this far looks good the question i have i installed virtualbox and the usb is not being detected by windows i click on the usb icon on the virtualbox i see the device but it is grayed out and says no usb dive can anyone help thank you.

Please read the FAQ or the Manual for USB.

And please use signs like ,. etc. to seperate your sentences. So it is unreadable.
