Hi:
I've XP Pro (SP3) as guest OS on a Windows Vista (Home Premium) host. I'm using VirtualBox 2.2.4
Everything I need is OK (I find VirtualBox is easier to configure an much faster than Microsoft Virtual PC).
The only thing I'm having problems with is that opening and exploring Shared folder from the guest OS (XP Pro) is extremely slow. When I say extremely I mean EXTREEEEMELY (it can take ¡¡MINUTES!! to open).
Any help out there...?

Now my Shared folder is finally usable and then... useful.

The first solution worked for me, but still slow..

Only mapping de shared folder in a drive worked perfectly for me, as said here:

I mapped my home shared folder in host on H: in guest using windows explorer (Tools menu) and now the folder opens instantly.
