changing the mount point of the vdi

Post by stevesr0 »

I copied an installation from an IDE drive to a SATA drive. When I attempt to launch the virtual machine, the path is to the previous location (/hda) instead of the new drive (/sda).

How do I tell VirtualBox that the path has changed?

Can't you just tell VBox to use the IDE controller in the VBox settings? Just don't set the SATA switch on.
