Hi,
we would like to make a commercial product which is contained in a vbox image.
We would like to give this image as VM to our customers (as downloadable media). We handle the software licenses which are in the image, but we don't know the image license.
What can we do with the image? Should we buy a license for this kind of distribution, or is it free?
thanks,
szilsan

Re: VBox image license
I'm quite sure that you don't need a commercial license to publish a .vdi image. It is the same like .vhd and .vmdk: The format descriptions are freely available so you could create such an image even with a self-written application.
