Hello,

Is there any remote GUI what allow to manage VirtualBox [server] without x.org ?

I want to manage my development server, but i think learning and using this "head less" command is too complicated.

Any possibility to run any GUI from my local machine and controll server box ?

Regards

In short the only two options "out of the box" are the terminal VBoxManage commands and the Qt4 based VirtualBox GUI which is layered over X on Linux. You need an X desktop on your server to install VBox. Of course you can always VNC onto your server if you don't want to set up X over SSH and Xauth, etc.

There isn't a Web version of the GUI.

Actually you can use items like x11-server to run the GUI remotely. Also nomachine could be another option.

That's what I meant by "... to set up X over SSH and Xauth, etc." :)
