No netowork after resume

Hi,
I have WinXP - SP3 as host, Linux Kubuntu 9.04 as guest.
I'm using VirtualBox 2.2.4 r47978.
When I resume the OS, I don't have network connection on eth0 (network set as bridge in the setup for this image).
Running "sudo service networking start/stop/restart" or "sudo /etc/init.d/networking stop/start/restart" doesn't help getting the connection back.
So far, the only solution I found, was restarting VirtualBox, which is quite annoying.
Anyone any idea?
