Sending Certain Keys from Guest to Host

Hi I'm new to the forums but I've been using VirtualBox for some time now.
I'm curious if it's in any way possible to send certain keys only to the host even if the guest is active, similar to the way Ctrl-Alt-Del is only picked up by the host.
The reason I want this is because I have multiple desktops running (through VirtuaWin) set with the hotkeys win+# to switch the certain desktop # and I want to be able to have one of these desktops be the virtual machine running in full screen mode.
So far the best I can do is press the host key followed by the hotkey for switching, but I was wondering if it's at all possible to customize which hotkeys are never picked up by the guest even if active ?
