virtualbox.org

hi all,
i use virtualbox 2.2.4 (PUEL)

running Vboxmanage.exe without param shows this line in the cmd window:
....
VBoxManage adoptstate <uuid>|<name> <state_file>
....
The Helpfile of virtualbox doesn't mention this command.
i searched the forum, found one thread that doesnt help me.
Can anyone explain or tell where to find informations about this and .sav states ...
