step-by-step guide somewhere

Host is Mandriva 2008.1 [32-bit version] and the Guest is Windows XP. Still switching between cursor control of Host/Guest with right-ctrl button. Apparently there's a setting so I don't have to do this, and also I can see my CD/DVD drive, but there is a way to see my Host directories/files in the Guest? How, how, how? I've been reading everything off CD in the guest. Works, but would be more efficient to work from the drives/files.
