What is error 0x800706BA, how to fix

Running host winXP 32bit SP3 I get the error "Callee RC: Unknown Status 0x800706BA (0x800706BA)" at the final step of attempting to create a guest. I've done a search and can't find any indication that anyones ever actually got any help on or explanation of this error, I hope I have a bit more luck.

Yip, hence "I've done a search". The "DCOM Server Process Launcher" is running, it's not on linux, and most of the other search results tell people to search (as you have) and provide links to other threads that also have absolutely no answers.
The user guide has no mention of this or similar errors, the troubleshooting section gives no general troubleshooting advice, it's specific to problems with guests themselves.

I did eventually get it to create the guest by not creating a virtual hard drive at the same time, and I did manage to create a virtual hard drive, but I got the same error when trying to connect them.

I can't find a proper reference to the error code, someone must have programed the error code, it must mean something, but theres no reference anywhere.
And so again I ask, does anyone actually know what this 0x800706BA error code means?

Reinstall VBox by right clicking the install icon and then left clicking run as admin. Select repair and after the install reboot.
