I have recently tried to install and older computer game on my Windows Vista but could not get it to work. The game is Sim City 3000 Unlimited and was released about 9+ years ago, so it used Windows 98. I was told to check out Virtual Box to download what is needed to get it to work. Which download do I need in order to get my game to work? I am new to Virtual Box and have not downloaded anything from it yet.

VirtualBox is the Type 2 Hypervisor that will allow you to install a second operating system and be able to run it from within your original operating system. You will need to get Windows XP and install it in VirtualBox. Windows 98 is officially not supported.
