Memory Leak

Hello, when i copy Files per LAN from VM to Host, my RAM is flooding. I have 6GB physical RAM. My VM (WinXp) has 512 MB. Everytime i copy Files from VM to Host my Memory shrinks. Only way to get the RAM back free is closing the VM
