hi
ive got virtualbox up and running i can go on the web and all but i cant get utorrent to work
is there a trick?


ive even turned off antivirus and firewall
no luck

It is simply amazing what you can find on Google http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/356213
But if you are trying to use NAT you are going to need to forward ports for it to work, or switch to bridged and just let the software do its thing.
Section 6.4. Network Address Translation (NAT) of the users guide will help you with the forwarding.

i just don't understand why people are using nat and not bridged.

i even think its in the manual/wiki that bt won't work with nat and works fine with bridged.

Well, NAT is the default and works fine for everything I do, so I leave it alone. :-)
