When I try install MacOS on Virtual Box I meet with problem - Windows message about critical error...

- Primary RAM: 512 Mb (I have 2 Gb RAM, DDR II 400 MHz)

I do want to install Mac OS under Virtual box, and there is nothing illegitimate in a way I'd like to do it. But first I have to explain my reasons.

I'm sysadmin and I support a good dozen of systems (not quite true, but if you count version as separate systems, it will be over a dozen). I support several version of Mac OS as well: 10.5, 10.4, 10.3, 10.2 (don't smile, the last is the version that Nobel Laureate in Physics has on his titanium PowerBook). I do want to have all of these version, and always handy. I do have legitimately purchased Mac OS installation disks for all of them (not used for installation on any other machines), and I even have an extra 10.5 installation DVD (which I also purchased: the one that came with my laptop cracked, and I do use this DVD often). Another restriction Apple applies: that MacOS can only be installed on Apple hardware is also not my case: I'm going to do it on MacBook Pro, i.e. on Apple hardware.

I do realize that my case is kind of unique, and I do realize that if this all were straightforward, over 99% of such installations would be performed on non-Apple hardware, thus violating EULA for MacOS with Apple...

In view of all this I'm writing not in a hope for help in technical aspects (which is always welcome, however), but rather to invite external opinion about what I'd like to do. In particular, if this is violating rights of Apple spelled in EULA, how and which? My reason for that is simple: it's not a good practice for sysadmin (myself) to do illegal things even faithfully thinking that all is legal.

the EULA from Apple is not accepted by European law.
As a new customer you cannot know when you by the
Snow Leopard CD that you are only allowed to install
it on Apples hardware.

This is the most retarded customer strangulation one
can imagine.

Sorry, but you can only run 10.5 in a VM. All previous versions are not supported and run on a different architecture (PowerPC) (yes, I know 10.4 runs on intel hardware, but it's not supported by VB and it started on PPC anyway). If you want to support the older versions, you have to use software like Qemu to emulate a different architecture, or get such hardware yourself to support it. Personally, I would stop supporting users on older versions than the 10.4 x86 version. It's like supporting Windows 95 and MS-DOS!
