Hi. I have installed Xandrox (Customized for asus eee) in a virtual machine. The installation process was fine but, when I reboot, a message shows up and the when I close it the window in which the vm was running closes too. And I noticed that the status of the vm is set to "aborted". I hope someone can help or give me a clue of what is happening.
The message that I described before is one of the attached screenshots. The thing is that it is in spanish so, for those who don't understand, I translated it to english. Thanks :P

MESSAGE

The screen of the virtual machine is optimized to work
in 32 bit color mode. However the screen mode of the virtual
machine is configured like as 16 bit.

Please open the properties dialog of the guest operating
system and select, if available, a 32 bit color mode in
order to obtain the best performance in the virtual video
subsystem

I am not familiar with Xandrox, but the screen and prompt suggest that you need to install the guest additions.

GA or not, the VM should still be able to run on 24 bit colours (that's the number Linux uses, which is the same as 32 bit on Windows). I don't know exactly where the other 8 bit go to. I don't get that message on any of my VM when I don't have the GA installed, but it's possible I ticked the checkbox and ignore the message. It's only a small information dialog, informing you that colours might not be shown properly.
