Hello,
First of all, I would like to thank the community for this hard work. I was looking for a solution to test Windows7 and I am delighted with VirutalBox.
One last problem remains after upgrading Windows 7 RC candidate and installing additions: still no sound. The same happens when I select ICH AC97 or SopundBlaster16. My driver on the host is ALSA. The internal sound card is disabled. I am using an USB sound card. Removing sound device does not work. Emulation should work and it does not.
Any idea to enable sound support?
I need sound support to create tutotials explaining how to migrate from Windows7 to Debian.
Kind regards,
Jean-Michel

Ever thought about searching? It's in the Forum Posting Guide, that you need to do that first. Then you would have found out that the driver can be found if you run Windows Update.

I forgot to mention that I ran Windows update and it did not work.
Do not hesitate to tell me how to read any usefull information or URL that would point to the solution.

A different user mentioned that the driver from Realtek works just fine. This is the driver that we tell everyone to use if they can't find the driver, or removed it from their OS with some tool.
