Where to find _definitions_ of HDD variants?

Post by JeffBuckles »

I apologize if this is somewhere obvious, but I could not find it in the manual or the FAQs. Where can I find a definition or explanation of the different HDD variants that are named in the "createhd" command line: "Standard,Fixed,Split2G,Stream,ESX". ?

Thank you and Best Regards,

Sorry, but the reason that you can't find it is that it isn't there. They mainly relate to VMDK types. See http://www.virtualbox.org/browser/trunk ... .cpp#L2074 et el.
