Though Vista works I get a series of UAC messages saying a new hardware has been found

> install a driver for ATA Channel 0
> install a driver Controller IDE
Have I done errors installing Windows guest additions ? ( shared folder and Monitor card work....)

Ubuntu 8.04.1 is my host.
I 've installed guest addition http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/3536/vbox16.png
doing a double click on the first application of VboxWindowsAddition (467 KB ) ( the installer , I think...) correct ?
.... why ask drivers for VBOX HARDDISK ATA device , VBOX CD-ROM ATA device .... this is Vbox stuff...

Vista is saying that it has detected new stuff!
It is asking if it can load the new stuff!
If you don't answer yes you will see this message every time you boot into Vista because it will still see new stuff.

It should be VBOX Virtual hardware and its driver has not been installed ...by GuestAddition ?

No, the GA only provides a driver for the video adapter, shared folders functionality and timesync. It does not have other hardware drivers, because the Guest OS has them already.
