Hi all,
I've searched about and I can find out how to clone vdi's, but I'm looking to clone a whole VM, is there any way to do this?
Many thanks,
Ben

Re: Cloning a *whole* machine
I am suspecting that you are talking about snapshots.
Short answer you can not clone snapshots.
You can however copy these as in a backup. You need to backup the VirtualBox.xml and the machine XML as well as the VDI and Snapshot of the machine.

Re: Cloning a *whole* machine
Many thanks Perryg, we are creating a virtual-environment where users can get access to VM's, we will be cloning a 'clean' system on the fly when someone wants to use a VM, so they don't have the waiting time of installation, we'll create a script to clone the VM/snapshot xml details.
