Multiple Serial Ports

We want to run multiple modems under guest OS (Host is Windows XP, Guest is Windows 2000).
Is there a way we can enable 4 or more serial ports in the configuration. It looks like we can't have more then 2 serial ports at a time.
Any suggestions are welcome..
