I have downloaded the most recent build of the VirtualBox that is running on Windows XP. I installed Fedora Core 10 and had no problems running it. I setup the vhd and the vcd with an iso and everything worked. Then I went to install a build of Windows 98 and have run into problems. I created an iso of the Windows 98 build which wasn't a problem. I also created a floppy boot disk to perform any setup maintenance. I have three problems total getting Windows 98 to install. First when my boot disk loads it has load Windows 98 with CD-ROM support which is what I need. As it loads the command program and drivers the system hangs. I then tried to load Windows without CD-Rom support and was able to get to a prompt. I then wasn't able to format the drive or even call it using a cd c:. I thought maybe I was going about this all wrong so I disconnected the floppy and I get failure to find bootable media. Has anyone tried to install Windows 98 with Virtual Box and if so how should I go about doing it? Some may wonder why I am even trying this and for those I can only say that I was researching for a customer a way to keep a really old application that wouldn't work in XP. Any help is well appreciated.
