Anyone tried installing Windows 7 RC???

Hey all.

I'm getting a BSOD everytime I try to install Windows 7 RC 64 bit. I'm not entirely sure why this happens. It's the 0x000001 memory type BSOD.
I read a few posts where people said that it's due to the RAM amount given to the guest, or due to video card memory allocation, and so forth. But I tried changing all kinds of settings and I still get a BSOD with a memory dump as soon as the installation is is starting.

I'm pretty new to Intel processors (recently defected!) and I'm not sure if it could be because I'm trying to install the 64 bit version and MAYBE (however very unlikely) the Intel Core2Duo processors are 32 bit? I can't seem to find a definite answer to that.

In any case, anyone had this problem and managed to solve it?

Thanks.

You have to check the manual for what you need to be able to run 64 bit Guests. You have to check your mainboard BIOS if it supports hardware Virtualization, and you can Google on your CPU for the extensions it has.
