Hi,
I want to add a windows server 2003 virtual machine using a virtual SATA HDD.
So what i've done is :
1. Creating the virtual HDD
2. Check ENABLE SATA Controller in 'Hard disks' TAB
3. Choose sata port 0 as a slot and the recently created virtual HD
When I started the virtual machine, the installation process begins as usual and when I was prompted to press Enter to begin effective installation the system indicates that no HDD was detected. Normal because by enabling SATA controller We usually need a third party drivers. Correct me if i'm wrong
So please how can I deal with this situation and complete the installation process.
Thank you
Enabling SATA controller

Re: Enabling SATA controller
It's in the Windows Guests forum. It describes how to get SATA working before or even after installation of the Guest.
