Connection with virtualBox in Vista

Post by Amaiatxu »

Hi!!
I've installed VirtualBox in my Windows Vista, and it seems to work properly, but for the connection. Do I have to configure something special to make it work?
I need to connect a device, and though the connection exits, the network isn't identified. I suppose that's a configuration issue, so if anyone knows how to solve the problem, I'd be really pleased....
Thank you!

Not enough information to be able to help.
Forum Posting Guideline
  • Please provide host and guest memory.
  • What are the VBox settings (all of them) for the guest?
  • What (if any) error messages are you getting?
Also what device you are talking about and what the requirements are for the device to work.

Hi!!

Sorry for not giving enough information, but I have already solve it.

I installed virtualbox in windows vista, and the guest OS is linux ubuntu 2.6. There I installed de VDI for the leanXcam. My problem was that I couldn't connect the device over virtualbox, but following these steps I solved the problem.

I hope this will help to those who have the same problem.

Thanks anyway!
